Valentine Blog Hop Stop #3

Hello and welcome to today's 3rd stop on the blog hop trail.  We are celebrating LOVE this month, and whether your projects center on the love of your life, your kids, family, friends or pets, we have some inspiration for everyone!  The new Watercolor Love collection from Creative Memories - along with the Heart Chain Border Maker Cartridge -  make it easy to pull together SWEET, coordinated layouts.

Here is what I have for you today: a "candy hearts" layout that is fun to make!

Simply cut wide borders for each page, and thin strips in a darker color paper, to define the borders.  Arrange your photos as desired, and mat a few of them if you like.  The little tags with words are cut from a Watercolor Love paper. Punch two borders with the Border Maker and Heart Chain cartridge, and add to the top of pages.

To make the cascades of candy hearts, punch a heart border from various colors of cardstock. I used the aqua blue from Shades of Bright, the pink from Shades of Red, a green hue from Shades of Green, the yellow and purple from Shades of Pastel. Set aside the borders for use on other pages, but keep the little punched out hearts, and stick them onto the page!  If you are really good with a fine-tip pen, you could add little words to the hearts.

Time to move on to Diana's page to see what she has created!  You will want to click on each bloggers page, below, and finally, leave a nice comment on the Creative Memories blog for a chance to win this month's prize package!!
