Easter Blog Hop

We made it to spring!  It's been a wild winter here in my part of the country, and we're ready for some sunnier, warmer days.  With Easter only one week away, the CM Creative Team is excited to share some ideas for celebrating this holiday of promise and renewal.  You have landed on stop number four, where I have some "Freshly Picked" layouts you can use with your Easter photos.

At the end of this post, I will list all of the Blog Hop participants so you can click on through and be inspired!

You may recall this layout from January, when I was promoting our Year to Remember collection:

On those pages, I combined the calendar elements from the Year to Remember collection with the gorgeous new Fresh Picks papers.  Well, now you can get Fresh Picks embellishments to coordinate with that paper, and you will want to get your hands on this bouquet of flowers, butterflies, and sparkles!

I had loads of pictures from that particular Easter, and wanted to continue the Fresh Picks theme, while incorporating some Fast2Fab pages to make it quicker.  The page on the left (below)  was a plain white refill.   I used Fresh Picks paper and embellishments, and added Navy ABC stickers, and a border made with the Picket Fence cartridge. To dress it up further, I wove a strip of paper through the picket fence (before adhering to the page).

The one on the right is a Fast2Fab page, and since it's preprinted, I only had to stick down my un-cropped photos, plus another woven picket fence border, a Slide-In Card for journaling, and a flower with leaves!

This page would have been fine without the flower, but it does look more lively, no?

The butterfly is actually two layered butterflies.  The sparkly gems add a little something special!

I kept moving along with the Fresh Picks Fast2Fab pages, adding a little paper, my photos, and a few decorative elements.  I like Fast2Fab pages because the basic layout is done already, and you can just dress it up.  Here, I added two wide borders, two narrow borders using bright blue cardstock, and Fresh Picks Embellishments.  The "perfect" circle was cut from a Slide-In Card.  This was finished in under ten minutes!

Ahhh, spring - so glad you are here.  Happy Easter, everyone!
