Creative Life Scrapbooking Winter Blog Hop

Hi scrapbookers!  You have reached stop 4 on our Winter Blog Hop. Thanks for hopping along!

I want to highlight a fabulous new paper pack from Creative Memories; it's called Rustic Manor.  Don't let the name throw you off - this is very versatile paper, with leaves, twigs, wood, and other natural elements.  The papers look like photos themselves, and have a lot of depth.  They look as though each would feel different to the the touch!

I used Rustic Manor for a zoo layout - a fun first-grade field trip.  There are no coordinating embellishments, so I used some zoo stickers from my stash, along with brown and green cardstock, and paper from Creative Memories "Stone" pack.

I began with two sheets of brown cardstock, and punches the animal footprint border with the CM Border Maker System.  Simple torn strips of paper from the Rustic Manor and Stone packs created the other borders.  To mat photos, I used a green cardstock, and more of the stone and twig papers.

A strip of stone paper behind the punched border gave the paw prints some varied, realistic color

Looks like real stone and twigs and leaves!
